About 2 ½ to 3 hours’ drive to the South from Manila, the historic town of San Juan lies in the Southern part of Batangas. Laiya, a barangay of the town, is nestled within Sigayan Bay, a part of the bigger Tayabas Bay, and so faces Mindoro and Marinduque in the East, across the Verde Island passage.
Taramindu Beach Garden Inn is a boutique hotel with 16 rooms and a dormitory enclosed in a small area, but with a big beach frontage. This feature makes our guests experience a feeling of privacy and exclusivity, making us unique from the rest.
Taramindu (tamarind) was named after the huge tamarind tree that juts out in the middle of the hotel building, to form a canope over the roof deck third floor event area. It is believed to be more than a hundred years old.
Rooms are rustic designed., fully air conditioned with individual toilet and bath, with hot and cold shower. Cable TV and DVD facilities are available. Bathrooms are provided with mineral water and some basic toiletries, including towels.
